What fun, build with starch pieces

A few days ago I had the opportunity to discover a new game based on small pieces of colored starch that are assembled each other to create a thousand and one figures, as the imagination of the little ones surprise us.

The pieces are usually made of potato or corn starch, and pigmented with organic, food-based products. To get them to stick to each other, just moisten them a little and join them in the way we want. Once dry, the structure is united and we will have our colorful sculpture.

It is a particular construction game with all its benefits, a playful activity that helps them develop fine motor skills when they manipulate the pieces and stimulate the imagination while helping concentration.

The pieces we used were of a hard-to-find brand in Spain (FischeTechnick), and of course our results are less elaborate than that of photography.

But I have seen that they are sold online from different brands and in different formats, like those of Fischer TIP. They are sold in boxes or cubes of different sizes, with different themes (colors, accessories to decorate), drawings to inspire children ...

Of course, being small pieces (there are different sizes but in general a few centimeters) are not recommended for children under three years, due to the danger of being introduced into the mouth and the risk of suffocation.

But from there, they will love it play build with starch pieces, an ecological and entertaining game that stimulates your imagination and your senses. We will have to reserve a bookcase at home just for your creations ...
