A cot? Two?

If you have same-sex twins, you don't have to have twice as many clothes, usually, because both will have a similar growth rate but something else. You just have to buy a large and ready closet. I needed a lot of space for clothes, toys and various dishes.

Games area

With my first child I was left wanting an area where I could play freely without the restrictions of a park and without "leaking" so when I had my twins it was the first thing I looked for and found it.

At first he used it without the balls and only with his toys to help them crawl and with an activity gym. Now that they have started to sit down I put some balls and for them it is fantastic. At first I preferred to feed them by holding them in their arms but now that I put their plate with fruit so they can pick it up alone, the truth is that the high chair is ideal to be able to have freedom so I do recommend it. It is true that you are going to need space because you already know that they occupy a lot of space but think that they will be only a few years old. Baby carrier

Surely there are models adapted to carry twins but I preferred to buy a normal one for a very simple reason. I was going to use a cart and backpack. On trips or long excursions, when my son older than four years gets tired, he lies down in his brothers' car and falls asleep next to one of his brothers and carries my other twin. It is the most practical way to continue the excursion by taking the three comfortable kids.

Some complements

Soakers and protectors are essential, especially if you have twins. If a child is already dirty two, much more. Do not hesitate and get a good amount of them you will realize that it is a very useful solution. In fact I have a space only for protectors, creams, bibs ... very everyday things.

Bonus: infinite patience

You will learn to do everything running. Because you will feed one while you hear the second cry and the nerves will always be in full bloom. It is true that many times they adapt themselves and learn to wait. But you will need to develop patience and understand that you will not have as much time as you would like to dedicate them individually because they demand so much. Of course, it compensates. You will see it when they look at each other and laugh without more, when they make noises and seem to speak or when they just hold hands. Those moments are not paid. Raising two babies at once is wonderful. In my case, I have three children, I can say that it is a unique experience to see how my oldest son takes care of them as the greatest of his treasures and how my twins look at his brother as if there were nothing else in the world.
