Candy Lollipops

What kid doesn't like lollipops? Candies and sweets cannot be consumed in excess, but they can be taken from time to time, making sure that afterwards, they brush their teeth.

You want to do lollipops at home with your son ?, it is very simple, in addition to knowing the sweets he is eating, children will love to eat the lollipops they have made themselves.

The necessary ingredients are: 4 tablespoons of sugar, 2 teaspoons of water and 1 teaspoon of oil. You will also need some wooden or plastic sticks, one or several small metal molds of different shapes and a sheet of sulfurized paper. To begin, place the sheet of sulfurized paper on the work surface and lightly oil it. Also, failing that, you can spread a little oil on the clean marble.

In a pan over low heat, pour the water and sugar mixing with a wooden spoon, stir until the sugar begins to make caramel. As soon as the caramel begins to have color, remove it from the heat, because if the sugar burns it becomes bitter.

Let cool a little, less than a minute, and drop with the help of a spoon, small amounts of caramel inside the molds that you have put on the sulfurized paper or marble. Immediately place the stick to hold the lollipop.

After 2 or 3 minutes, when the caramel has cooled, peel the lollipops from the paper using the tip of a knife.

If you wish, you can use food coloring found in supermarkets, lollipops will be more fun for children if there are different colors. Remember that sugar only contributes calories, teach your child how to moderate his consumption, help him prevent obesity and tooth decay, but occasionally he cares, who doesn't know well?
