Tips to calm anxiety in pregnancy

When we are pregnant it is normal for women to become somewhat anxious even if we are a person of the calmest.

The changes that motherhood implies, the concern for the development of the baby, the great emotional burden that we carry inside and preparing the home for the arrival of the baby are symptoms of the famously known nest syndrome.

We have to do works at home, order and rearrange everything over and over again, change the decoration, move furniture ... Anyway, a lot of things caused by anxiety, especially in the last part of pregnancy.

But the burden and anxiety are not good companions at this stage, so we must try to calm down and continue some tips like these to channel it as well as possible: * Do gymnastics: there are highly recommended physical activities during pregnancy such as yoga or swimming that will help you connect with your body and disconnect from anxiety.

  • Do nothing: exactly. When you feel very anxious, take some time for yourself. Put candles, music and relax practicing breathing techniques in the favorite corner of your home.

  • Walking: Taking long walks is a very good exercise. It will do your body very well, in addition to distracting you.

  • Surround yourself with affection: talk about your doubts and fears with the people who are closest to you. Find special moments to enjoy with your partner and talk about what they feel.
