The problems of children with AIDS

Today marks the International Day of the Fight Against AIDS, that disease that punishes millions of people, especially the inhabitants of underdeveloped countries. Many children are targets of this fatal disease that progressively destroys the functions of certain cells of the immune system, making the organism of the small ones susceptible to various infections, which end up ending the life of the child in most cases.

The problems of children with AIDS There are several, suffer from various diseases caused by the low or no defenses of the body, so in the third world children infected with AIDS do not usually go to hospitals for fear that they can be infected with the different viruses found in the centers. The treatment is ambulatory and they return to their homes, as long as the pathology they present allows it. We all know that there is currently no vaccine against AIDS, but there is a treatment that allows children to lead a “normal” life, as long as an early diagnosis of the disease has been made and the treatment to which they are subjected respond appropriately.

Another serious problem is the high cost of such treatment, according to the fact that they have reduced the price and that different aids have been provided, but for someone who has nothing, no matter how cheap the treatment may seem, it will always be a high price.

Today is the International Day of the Fight Against AIDS, great news will be when the Day of the discovery of the vaccine against AIDS is celebrated. Children suffer and pay the consequences of some acts of adults.
