About the time of year, Madrid City Council has published a toy guide I've been looking through and I found it very useful for parents who are somewhat lost to take into account when writing the letter to the Magi.
It brings a classification of recommended toys by age, advises not to buy the toys that children ask for without checking their suitability, talks about the risks of game consoles, Internet and mobile, about advertising, the importance of teaching them to share toys and about the need for toys for everyone, referring to disabled children.
A very interesting chapter details the requirements that toys must meet in terms of safety, labeling and warnings of use, very important considering the latest toy recalls because they are dangerous to children's health.
