Humus. Recipe for pregnant women

Following the line we have started in this section, we are presenting dishes of simple elaboration, nutritious and that help to make it a little easier to take the diet that every pregnant woman has to follow, a diet that in addition to taking care of the calories, they give her an extra in nutrients, that result from easy digestion and also be tasty. And for all this, this is one of my favorites the Humus, is my help plate when I don't feel like shopping and I have almost nothing in the pantry.

The chickpeas They are a source of vegetable proteins, fiber, calcium, potassium, folic acid, iron, zinc, magnesium and vitamins B1, B2, B6 and C. It has very few fats, no cholesterol or sugars. About sweet paprika we have to know that it has digestive, cardiovascular and disinfectant properties.

The ingredients

350 grams of cooked chickpeas, 6 tablespoons of olive oil, the juice of half a lemon, 1 clove of garlic, ground cumin, salt, sweet paprika and / or sesame seeds.

Humus preparation

In a crusher we put the washed and drained chickpeas, the oil, the lemon juice, the garlic, a spoonful of cumin, and a pinch of salt.

We crush everything until a very fine paste.

Tasting

We serve the humus in several bowls, sprinkle them with sweet paprika and water it with olive oil.

Others can be served sprinkled with sesame seeds and olive oil.

We serve them with the bread that we like the most, it can be pita, baguette, etc.
