The animated short film Cuerdas by Pedro Solís García wins the Goya Award 2014

Pedro Solís García he dedicated the Goya Award to the best animated short at the 2014 gala at his daughter Alejandra, because he was inspired by history, son Nicholas, because I wish I had never inspired history and its Lola woman for all that has not cried before him.

And is that Strings tells an exciting story set in an orphanage in the two children develop a good friendship with an important participation of some ropes with which they join to play. The short film is subject to rights, or whatever it is called, and cannot be disseminated. So below only the trailer is linked. Even so it is possible to see whole copies, with greater or lesser quality, on YouTube that are being restricted and eliminated before the legitimate request of the authors.

Pedro Solis He was born in Barcelona in 1968 and although he has a great experience in cinema: two of his short films, Cuerdas and La Bruxa, have been awarded with Goya and has been production director in the movie Tadeo Jones, he is closely linked to the video game industry.

Here you can see Pedro receiving the Goya Prize for the best short film of the year 2014. We congratulate him for this and hope that soon his work can be seen in a way that does not harm him, although we should not be the ones who connect to the main Internet responsible for it:

He short film is brilliant in the way the Maria girl shows curiosity, respect and a lot of commitment to the child my daughter calls Stephen Hawking and that, as you can see in the trailer, is called Nicolás Solís. As the story progresses, you can see how the scriptwriter's imagination discovers what the child's reaction to an attitude as devoted and affectionate as Mary's can be. The end is a whirlwind of passions that shows how Mary maintains her commitment and vocation for the education and training of each and every child of the orphanage making a rope knotted on her wrist her mission.

Strings It is a beautiful story with a soundtrack that encourages and drives you through emotion and with a strong visual content in the absence of the dialogues imposed by the character. The Director's passion for his work is very noticeable and I imagine that he will believe, and surely it is so, that Nicolás will be very proud of his family.
