Highlights in Babies and more: from October 25 to November 1

Like every week, today we do a weekly review by the most outstanding contents we have published in Babies and more throughout the last days.

The previous one has been a week marked by Halloween, a celebration long awaited by the smallest of the house. We hope you have served our advice on homemade costumes, ghost ornaments and pumpkin decorations, but above all you have spent a very fun night with your children. By the way, Mireia has let us know another way to celebrate this date, Samhain's party.

It has also been a weekend marked by the time change, so we have mentioned the effects of this change on children.

Last week we also launched a survey in which you can still participate on How did you choose the baby's name? We want to know firsthand how you made the decision. We encourage you to participate, if you have not already done so. It will only take you a minute. Your answers will help us to make an analysis on this very important decision.

Continuing with the series Breeding without scourges, we have offered some resources on the web and we have talked about discipline with love, a concept that seems very successful to me. In turn, and related to the raising of children, we have commented that authoritarian upbringing promotes insecurity.

A study that has caused reactions of all kinds among parents is one that states that most babies start sleeping all night between two and four months. Is your baby one of those?

We have also talked about the benefits of skin-to-skin contact, one of the baby's basic needs, and continuing with our vitamin special, we have delved into the vitamin K deficit in infants and children.

One of the postpartum complications we have talked about these days is puerperal infection, also known as "puerperal fever." About men when it comes to conceiving, we have commented that the diet of man is also important to achieve pregnancy, as is logical.

One issue that worries many parents is to talk to children about death. We have given some advice to address this issue that would sooner or later arise in our lives.

Finally, it is common that in the birthday of the children sweets are taken to the nursery or school, about this widespread custom we have talked about Baubles and birthdays.

This week there will be many more interesting topics in Babies and more. Until next time!
